Who am I?
Hi! I’m Bea, and I’m a budding dog trainer located in the OKC metro area. Long story short, dog training is my passion, and I want to learn anything and everything about it.
I’m considered a balanced trainer, but don’t let the media fool you into thinking that’s a bad thing! I believe in the use of tools when permitted by pet parents and only after the dog has shown the need for them. If your dog doesn’t need a slip lead, then we don’t use it! Simple as that.
Another of my core beliefs is the need for the dogs to do their own decision making. If you’re snapping the leash before the dog even is told what to do and has time to think, then how is the pup supposed to learn?
At the end of the day, every dog is different, and I’m constantly learning and adapting from other trainers and courses I’m taking. I would love the chance to get to know you and your dog, and to tackle any problems you may be facing head on!
